Laura Wheatley M.Ost DPO
Laura worked as a contemporary dancer before graduating from the British School of Osteopathy in 2012. She was awarded several prizes on graduation including the college’s Gold Medal for outstanding contribution to the school and the R.K. Hardy Prize for her research into emotional processing and lower back pain (which has since been published).
Laura has pursued postgraduate training in cranial osteopathy and paediatric osteopathy, working for two years at the Osteopathic Centre for Children to gain her postgraduate Diploma in Paediatric Osteopathy. She is now a children’s clinic tutor at the University College of Osteopathy and has also tutored at the Osteopathic Centre for Children.
Laura treats people of all ages drawing on her skills in both structural and cranial osteopathy. er extensive experience in movement and yoga also plays an important role in her osteopathic approach. She is also a local Nunhead Mum with two young sons so when not in the clinic is often at the park or on the school run!
Laura is recognised by most of the health insurers who cover osteopathy.
