This year has been an exciting time for us as we built and opened Nunhead Osteopathy Practice. We opened our doors in September and have been delighted that so many people have discovered us on our tucked away cul-de-sac in the corner of Nunhead.
We are also grateful to the number of our patients who have recommended us to their friends and family and the referrals we’ve received from other local practitioners such as yoga teachers, massage therapists, lactation consultants, hypno-birthing teachers and doulas.
This year, Nancy joined the team at London Hypnobirthing and has been treating many pregnant and post-birth mothers, babies and relatives of the London Hypnobirthing families. Emma has embarked on a journey to further develop her skills as a paediatric osteopath and she now also works at the Osteopathic Centre for Children each Friday. Aside from designing and supervising the construction of the clinic, Aidan has added working on Mondays in the practice to his ongoing practice and teaching commitments elsewhere.
We’d like to wish all our patients, neighbours and local small businesses a Merry Christmas and a happy and healthy 2016.
Exactly a year after we started the building works at 55 Hichisson Road, Nunhead Osteopathy Practice is finally open. It has been a busy year of managing builders and planning everything from the insulation specification to the weight of our business cards. The practice was built on the site of an old building, originally a stonemason’s workshop. Today’s clinic is a complete rebuild on the same site which enabled us to create step-free access from the street and include design features to maximise energy efficiency. If you are interested to see the story of our building works in pictures have a look at our Facebook Album.
To introduce the osteopathic team, the idea for the practice was developed by Aidan Spencer and Nancy Nunn who carried out all of the planning and opened the practice. We are also very excited to be joined at the clinic by Emma Hayward. Aidan, Emma and Nancy are all experienced, registered osteopaths who live locally.
We plan to update this blog with news and articles which we think would be of interest to other osteopaths and to our patients. Do subscribe (on the right) if you would like to be notified when we post.
